WHAT TO EAT BEFORE WORKOUT
Bananas are the best pre-workouts one can long for. Having two bananas before going for workout will help oneself to withstand minimum of two hours high intensity workout quiet easily. It further helps to lift more weights, thus, it is the best option one would go for as a pre-workout.
OATMEAL with FRESH FRUITS
Oatmeal is equally helpful for a person who exercises. It sticks on throughout one’s workout and gradually releases sugar into one’s bloodstream. Further, adding fruit will help increase the fluid content of one’s pre-workout snack, keeping one fully hydrated.
If one is going for a cardio session, then they must definitely have caffeine as it gives instant energy which would help one during their hyper workouts. But if cardio is not included in your daily regime, then consuming caffeine is not appreciated.
WHAT TO EAT AFTER WORKOUT
Since one’s body is in recovery mode after workout, so one needs a nutrient dense dish. Thus, the lean protein and carbohydrates in chicken will fill one up easily and hence help in recovery.
Sweet potatoes packed in complex carbs help to restore glycogen levels, which get depleted after a workout.
TUNA FISH AND SPINACH SANDWICH
Tuna is low in calories, but very high in protein and good carbs. And spinach is a produce powerhouse, which curbs one’s appetite to boost complexion and lower blood pressure and inflammation.
